1. Inability to Focus on Screens

The major disadvantage of online classes is that the students can't focus on the screens. Online classes are taken on mobile phones or laptops which are also their major distractions. It is very hard for them to not get distracted by the games and social media applications. Also, many students are busy chatting with their friends and family. And, all of these distractions are a major hurdle for students to focus on their screens for a longer period. 

2. Technology Issues

India is developing at a good pace and due to Jio, now everyone has an internet connection also. However, many technical issues are preventing students from taking classes properly. Technological issues that students are majorly facing include poor internet connection, electricity problems, etc. Yes, we have a good internet connection, but do we have consistent good connections. Many times, students are not able to attend the live classes and face difficulty seeing the video. This has also become an excuse for the students who don't want to study. 

3. Isolation

When students are studying through online classes, they don't get the chance to meet their friends every day like that in schools. This disadvantage of online classes has been a concern of many parents as their children are feeling isolated. School is like a second home to children and when they start studying online, they are not getting outside much. This will degrade their social skills as they will not learn how to talk to others. Also, feeling isolated can make students anxious and sad. Teachers and elders need to motivate their children to meet people personally instead of talking to their friends online. 

4. Too Much Screen Time

The concern of parents that their children are using too many phones has grown tremendously. This is another disadvantage of online classes that are now becoming a nightmare for parents. Nowadays, students get a reason or I say excuse to use too many phones or laptops. Also, they have to study so much that their screen time is already increased. If students are taking online classes, then they also have to make their assignments online. In all, even if the students are studying, their screen time has increased so much. 

5. Training of Teacher

The sudden lockdown due to the corona outbreak has forced the teachers to take the classes online. However, many teachers don't know how to take online classes. Furthermore, many teachers don't have the necessary resources to conduct online classes. This has become a major disadvantage of online classes which has affected many teachers and also students.
